EKGs at Home
EKGs and echocardiograms, performed where the patient is. When symptoms call for a cardiac work-up that a phone call can't provide, the equipment comes to the patient instead of the other way around.
What’s included
- EKGs performed at home or at work
- Echocardiograms where indicated
- Blood pressure monitoring
- Physician review of every result
Diagnostic services vary by location.
How in-home EKGs work
The physician determines on the telehealth call whether cardiac testing is needed. A medical technician then performs the EKG or echocardiogram in the patient's home, and the physician reviews the results with the patient and directs next steps — including escalation to emergency care when the findings call for it.
- Physician callback within the hour
- Technician dispatched to the door
- E-prescriptions
- $0 copay
