Healthcare that comes to your staff, so your staff can stay with your students.
EZaccessMD puts a physician on the phone in minutes and, when a call is not enough, sends a medical technician to the home with X-ray, ultrasound, labs, EKG, and rapid tests. No copay, no claim, whole household included. Fewer half-days lost to waiting rooms, fewer substitute days, and a benefit families actually notice.
Ordinary healthcare is built around a schedule your staff do not have
A school runs on bells and coverage. Getting care the normal way means leaving the building during the day, and one empty chair at the front of the room costs far more than the visit itself.
A teacher cannot leave at 10am
Urgent care and primary care run on school hours. A strep test at 2pm means a substitute, a scramble for coverage, or a teacher who waits until the weekend and gets sicker.
Every absence has two price tags
The health plan pays for the visit. The school pays for the substitute. One mid-week trip to urgent care costs a half day of coverage on top of the claim.
Sick kids are staff absences
When a child wakes up with an earache, a parent misses work. Staff households have kids in your building and others, and respiratory season hits all of them at once.
The business office wears every hat
Most schools do not have a benefits team. Anything you add has to enroll easily, run itself, and give the person running it fewer calls, not more.
Telehealth that can put hands on the patient
The difference from an ordinary telehealth line is what happens when the phone call is not enough. Instead of sending your staff to urgent care, we send the urgent care to them.
- 01
Call or tap
A staff member or someone in their household reaches a physician by phone or app, 24/7/365, typically within about ten minutes.
- 02
The physician decides
Most concerns resolve on the call: diagnosis, a prescription sent to the pharmacy, a follow-up plan. Nobody leaves the building or the couch.
- 03
We come to them
When a test or exam is needed, a medical technician brings X-ray, ultrasound, labs, EKG, and rapid tests to the home or school, usually within two hours, in our in-home service areas.
- 04
Resolved, with no claim
The physician reads the results, treats, and documents the visit. Nothing is billed to the plan or the staff member.
Telehealth is available everywhere your staff live. In-home diagnostics dispatch in our metro service areas, and we confirm coverage for your ZIP codes before you sign anything. See where we are.
One flat price per staff member. Everything below is included.
$0 at the point of care
No copay, no deductible impact, no bill. That is what turns a benefit people have into a benefit people use.
The whole household
Spouses, kids, and household members are included at no extra cost, including family members who are not on the school's health plan.
In-home diagnostics
X-ray, ultrasound, labs, EKG, and rapid tests for strep, flu, COVID, and UTI, brought to the home and read by the physician the same visit.
Prescriptions
Sent electronically to the pharmacy your staff member already uses, often before the call is over.
24/7/365
Nights, weekends, snow days, spring break, and all summer. The same number works from the beach or the road.
English and Spanish
Bilingual physicians and bilingual enrollment materials, so every staff household gets the same access.
The same benefit, tuned to how a school actually runs
We have served employers for a decade. Schools have taught us that the details below are the ones that decide whether a benefit gets used.
Visits after the last bell
In-home visits are scheduled around the school day. A teacher finishes the afternoon, drives home, and gets the X-ray at the kitchen table instead of the urgent care lobby.
Parents stay in the classroom
A child seen at home at 7am instead of a pediatric urgent care at 10am is a teacher who shows up. Household coverage is the part of this benefit schools feel most.
Off the claims ledger
Resolved visits generate no claim. For a self-funded school that is direct savings. For a fully insured school it shows up in the loss ratio at renewal.
You choose who is covered
Every staff member, or just plan enrollees. Full-time, part-time, aides, and coaches can all be included, and their households come along either way.
Enrollment your office can run
A launch kit with a staff-meeting video, wallet cards, break-room posters, and bilingual materials. No IT project, no portal to administer.
Reports on a school calendar
Utilization and satisfaction reporting timed to your board meetings and renewal cycle, not ours.

How this is calculated
Avoided claims use Healthcare Bluebook national per-visit benchmarks and our post-consult survey of where members would otherwise have gone (49% urgent care, 27% primary care, 7% ER, 2% specialist). Consults that would have gone untreated (15%) count as $0 and zero hours. Staff time assumes a typical door-to-door visit of 2 to 4 hours depending on the setting. We price your specific ZIP codes when we send a proposal.
Charter, independent, parochial, and small district schools
EZaccessMD works best where a single business official owns benefits, every absence needs coverage, and the staff are close enough to feel like a community. That describes most schools with 25 to 500 employees, whether the health plan is fully insured or self-funded.
- Charter school networks and single-site charters
- Independent and parochial schools
- Small public districts and BOCES-style consortia
- Early childhood centers and after-school programs
Live in 30 days, mid-year included
- Week 1A one-page agreement and a roster of covered staff. We confirm in-home coverage for your ZIP codes.
- Week 2Wallet cards, break-room posters, a staff-meeting video, and bilingual one-pagers, in your school's name.

- Week 4The line is open. We re-engage before flu season, spring break, and summer.

Questions school leaders ask
Is EZaccessMD a replacement for our school's health insurance?
No. EZaccessMD sits alongside your health plan. Staff keep their insurance for hospital care, specialists, and chronic conditions; EZaccessMD handles the everyday urgent and primary care that would otherwise send them to a waiting room, at no cost to them and with no claim filed.
How much does it cost a school?
A flat monthly rate per covered staff member, set by expected utilization, with households included at no extra charge. A 60-person school at the $12 tier pays $8,640 a year. There are no copays, per-visit fees, or setup fees.
Do staff have to be on our health plan to be covered?
No. You decide whether to cover every staff member or only plan enrollees. Either way, spouses, children, and household members are included, even if they are not on the school's plan.
Can we start mid-year?
Yes. Because EZaccessMD is separate from the health plan, it does not have to wait for open enrollment. Most schools are live within 30 days of signing, and many aim to launch before respiratory season or right after a break.
Does in-home care reach where our staff live?
Telehealth is available everywhere your staff live. In-home diagnostics dispatch in our metro service areas, and we confirm coverage for your staff ZIP codes before you sign anything.
What does the business office have to do?
Send us a roster of covered staff and pick a launch date. We provide the materials, present at a staff meeting if you like, handle every call, and send utilization reports on your schedule.
